Fearless 2018

Be honest with yourself. What didn’t you do in 2017 because you were afraid of something? And how much did that cost you in the end? What opportunities did you miss out on because you were stuck in status-quo? And are you where you are right now in your life because you happily, objectively and without fear chose to be there?

Think about all the times you felt angry, frustrated, jealous, annoyed, impatient, sad, despaired, .. What fear was that emotion actually hiding? Are you afraid of failing, being alone, dying, losing someone, .. Face that fear today. Do not let it control you. Life your life, live your truth. Behind fear is absolute freedom. Set yourself free.

My favorite book EVER quotes:

“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.” ― Frank Herbert, Dune

I wish for all a fearless 2018 with many new exciting opportunities!
Be bold, be rebels, be happy 🙂

“..people feel greater regret for bad outcomes that result from new actions taken than for bad consequences that are the consequence of inaction.” https://www.behavioraleconomics.com/mini-encyclopedia-of-be/loss-aversion/

“Making choices that give us present happiness and future gain mean understanding our deepest values. And sometimes picking a happiness choice means a bit of discomfort at first, but eventual satisfaction.” http://www.thethreeyearexperiment.com/magic-balance/

“When it comes to finding peak levels of motivation, it all comes down to how much pain and pleasure you associate to achieving and to not achieving your goal. Therefore if you seek high levels of motivation, then you will need to associate as much short and long-term pleasure as possible to achieving your goal, and as much short and long-term pain towards not achieving your goal.” http://blog.iqmatrix.com/pain-pleasure-principle
