Sabine van Kessel

I was born and raised in The Netherlands, though during my teens I've also lived in Portugal. Back in The Netherlands I first obtained a degree in Multimedia Design at the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam. After, at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Multimedia Design and a minor Higher European Studies within 3 years.

I have a background in IT Project Management (PRINCE2) and Online/ Digital Consultancy. Back in 2008 I first started working with Scrum.

In the years that followed Agile made everything click. Suddenly I saw how multidisciplinary teams can work together efficiently to reach a set goal within a predefined time frame. I saw how motivated people performed, how much faster ideas were coming to life and the impact both of these things have on a company. It’s really all about ownership and customer feedback of course.

In the last decade I was lucky enough to be a part of the Agile transitioning of several companies that each had their own unique yet completely relatable struggles. I’ve helped teams in all stages back on track or further forward. I’ve advised management about scaling issues and change management. I’ve set op Scrum from scratch. And I enjoyed every part of it.

This is truly where I see myself working. I love IT, I love Agile and most of all I love bringing those together. Please read below a more extensive layout of my work experience.
